Register today for Campaign Boot Camp

Now that the initiative to regulate marijuana like alcohol has qualified for the ballot, the campaign has exactly eight months to get its message out to Colorado voters and make sure they are ready to vote YES on Amendment 64 this November.

To get things rolling, we are holding a huge volunteer boot camp on Sunday, March 18, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Casselman's in Denver (2620 Walnut St.). If you are interested in getting involved and helping the campaign we strongly encourage you to attend this important event. Space is limited and registration is required so click here to register and reserve your spot today!

At the boot camp we will go over the campaign's game plan, provide some valuable training, and distribute materials you can take back to your community.

Attention women! Just prior to the boot camp there will be a one-hour seminar and light lunch from 11 a.m. to noon, during which we will specifically address the importance of outreach to women voters and discuss some plans for moving forward. To sign up for this special session, please be sure to check the appropriate box when you register on-line for the boot camp.

This will be a volunteer-driven grassroots campaign and we need as many people as possible to get involved at the local level to help build support for ending marijuana prohibition. Attending the 2012 campaign boot camp is a critical first step, so please register today!

For those who are not in the metro area, if you were ever going to make a trip to Denver to get involed with the campaign, this would be a really good time to do it. But do not worry if you cannot make it. There will be more opportunities to get the information and materials we will be providing, as our goal is to work with local activists to organize events around the state throughout the campaign.

* We are looking for a select group of sponsors to help us cover the costs of this event and the materials we will be distributing. For details, please send us an e-mail or call us at 303-861-0033. *
