50,000 signatures and counting!

It's been exactly two months since the launch of the petition drive to place the Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol Act on the 2012 ballot, and as of today the campaign has more than 50,000 signatures on hand

This is an impressive milestone but there is still a lot of work to be done, and to do it we need your help.  Please CLICK HERE to make a financial contribution today and give $100, $50, $25, or whatever you can afford to support this historic effort.  Every dollar you give will go toward the Colorado Alliance for Marijuana Reform's work to build support for reform and bring about an end to marijuana prohibition in Colorado.

Hundreds of volunteer activists and businesses throughout Colorado are now circulating the petition, including more than 100 members of the marijuana business community.  If you want to sign the petition but haven't come across a petitioner yet, we encourage you to visit the interactive map of petition-signing locations on our website.  And if you know of any local businesses that might like to have a petition but are not yet listed, please ask them if them if they want one and then let us know so we can follow up with them.

We need more people and businesses out there collecting signatures to ensure we reach our goal of 140,000.  If you'd like to get a petition and help put this historic initiative on the ballot, please CLICK HERE to get started.  Whether you collect 25 signatures from friends and family or 250 outside of a concert or local grocery store, you can play a critical role in making Colorado first state in the nation to end marijuana prohibition.
